Murphy Geomatics has been providing professional land surveying services since 1977. We began our corporate life as Murphy & Hall, P.A. in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Through the years we have operated as Murphy & Associates, Murphy Yelle Associates, Murphy Hobson Sacks, and Murphy & Sacks. In 2005, our trade name changed to Murphy Geomatics to reflect a consolidation of ownership in the Murphy family and the increasing diversity of our professional services.

The level of customer service and integrity Murphy Geomatics practices places them into a distinct group of professionals who are concerned with quality and client satisfaction. Our firm is proud to specialize exclusively in professional land surveying. While other firms may offer engineering, planning, architecture, and surveying under one roof, we do not subscribe to that business model. We proudly stands behind our specialty: surveying.

Murphy Geomatics offers four distinct categories of service: land development, construction layout, land title surveys and environmental operations. Land development services include: boundary, topography, and subdivision surveys. Our construction layout division handles any phase of construction staking from clearing limits to brick points and column lines. Our environmental operation deals with HAZMAT, Army Corps of Engineers wetlands location, river and stream buffers, monitoring well and soil sample locations, and other specialized operations.

We employ fully electronic surveying systems for all aspects of our field operations. This includes TOPCON robotic total stations, Autodesk Autocad 2006, custom programmed data collection, Leica GPS, Ashtech GPS, Trimble GPS, Topcon RTK GPS with VRS capabilities and Windows CE data collection.
