Murphy Geomatics has a dedicated Construction division with a full-time estimating department, highly experienced project managers and field crews who specialize in providing the staking needed to assure the project is built where the designers intended. We don’t view construction staking as fill-in work or something to do between boundary surveys. We understand the time sensitive nature of the construction process and work very hard to deliver crews on short notice whenever possible.

When pricing a project, our experienced estimating department performs a comprehensive takeoff and prepares a detailed line item proposal. With our years of experience we are able to offer the contractor with a complete list of items we feel are needed to properly control the construction effort. The proposals chronologically recite our estimation of needed tasks with full detail on what we will provide. If greater or fewer services are needed, we can quickly adjust our proposal to accommodate the requirements of the contractor and subcontractor.

Murphy Geomatics prefers to work on a contract basis and expects any extra work to be handled by change orders submitted and approved before any additional work is performed, thereby protecting both parties from billing misunderstandings.
